"PDF creator as a newsletter publishing aid" Posted 2023-03-27
Pros: I like that I can convert multiple files into one file so several pages can all be printed with one command. I publish a small newsletter that originates as a word document. Saving it as a PDF before printing (after all the rewrites and corrections have been made) prevents any errors from being made with erroneous keystrokes when printing. I once had several hundred copies print with an error before I started making the final proof available as a PDF.
Cons: It is a little inconvenient to go back to a word doc (or other working program) to make corrections. But that is the price I must pay in order to insure that the final copy stays unchanged while printing.
Overall: Easy to use and works well for what it is designed to do. There are limitations, but any added abilities are not free.

Pros: Everything works great.
I basically use it to store all my documents in PDF format especially documents that I don't want to be changed.Cons: Not really much to complain about, except maybe the pricing, but that is not really an issue.
Overall: Excellent layout. Very user friendly and very easy to print/save all documents in PDF format, quickly.

"PDFCreator - absolutely useful. " Edited 2023-01-26
Pros: I can ensure that my papers in: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, jpg are received as it was sent, is an automated acknowledgment of receipt.
Cons: I remember, I could take a picture of a PDF document as a skill of PDFCreator to work on the picture. Though now I did not find this option in the app I don't know if was eliminated.
Overall: Excellent skill for document management.

Pros: This program helps me in my volunteer capacities to send the occasional .PDF rather than WORD, because most folk can open a .PDF, but sometimes a WORD document will be distorted/corrupted when they try to print.
Cons: I don't need Architect, thanks... it is annoying when the software tries to entice me to use Architect. I find Architect very slow to open to review a newly .PDF'd document.
Overall: Really good, and suits my purposes. I am a volunteer for several not-for-profit community-based organisations, and need to send a monthly report, meeting agendas, minutes etc, Most of the members of these groups can open a .PDF, but sometimes for them a WORD document will be distorted or corrupted when they try to print. So, it's better that I send the relevant document as PDF's.

Pros: Been using it for a decade at work and home to keep copies of online documentation, receipts, anything I need a copy of and want to keep. It even names the file for you. You just point to the location.
Cons: PDF Architect keeps popping up and I spend more time closing it than I do using PDFCreator. I am ready to stop using it and move to the built in one in Windows 11.
Overall: It's been a great product for many years. I wish it would stop pushing PDF Architect so hard that it has become so annoying to use.

"Good Product" Posted 2023-01-21
Pros: Used for years. It works. Converts all my documents to PDF files in seconds. Like that I can name the file and file it where I choose.
Cons: Wish I could set up a default location where to file converted file when I forget to change the location from the last use. I think it went one place and then I realize I forgot to update the location where it was supposed to go. Then I am trying to find the file to move it to the proper location. Maybe if it asked when I clicked save, "Is the file location line correct?".
Overall: It's simple and easy to use. I've tried others: too many steps, too many coding issues. Thank you for making a great product.

"PDFCreator" Posted 2023-01-19
Pros: It works and the default PDF filename is intelligent, based upon the filename of the file being PDFed.
Cons: On installation/update it changes the PDF viewer to its own one which I don't like.
Overall: How can I? It just does what it says on the tin! And if you want a hundred characters I will oblige!
